Self-care and Qi

“To us, health is about so much more than simply not being sick. It’s about getting a balance between physical, mental, emotional, cultural and spiritual health. Health and healing are interwoven, which means that one can’t be separated from the other.”
- Dr Tamara Maclean, Australia's First Female Aboriginal Doctor

Self-Care and Qi

We all know we are living in very challenging times. Our bodies, our heart-minds, our spirits are percolating with a quiet awareness that change is rolling through our lives, our bodies, our families, our communities, our earth. Our bodies feel these shifts, even when our minds and hearts haven’t been able to name them. It’s important that we learn ways to keep balanced, healthy and resilient through these times. In this class we will explore the ways qi practices keep us going to stay grounded and open to meet our challenges.

Join me in this Self-care with Qi class were we can gather and ground, breath and do qigong, learn some self-acupressure and qi techniques such as moxabustion. Let’s share about keeps us grounded and real. Let’s share about our favorite teas, lotions and potions. And then let’s share about what shifts have deepened us and what keeps us inspired.  As with all my healing work you can look forward to a gentle, mindful experience.   We'll breath, move, talk and move some more.
Wear clothing that you can move in, be bare foot if you are able, have enough room to move around...in other words: be comfortable. If you have a yoga mat, carpet, meditation cushion or pillow have those easily available.
