Explore the language of your body and your own embodiment. This is a class of gentle movements, opening breaths and body mindfulness. Japanese Meridian Qigong is based on Shizuto Masunaga's Zen Imagery exercises. With this form we honor the body’s capacities and limitations and we support the body-mind’s natural affinity to being balanced. There is no “perfect” form except for the one that allows us to completely relax. Enjoy the synchronization of body, mind and spirit through relaxation and qi cultivation. The movements include reclining, sitting and standing. Wear clothing that you can move in, be bare foot if you are able, have enough room to move around...in other words: be comfortable. If you have a yoga mat, carpet, meditation cushion or pillow have those easily available. This is a drop-in class suitable for every kind of body and it’s perfect limitations.
