We feel stuck. The body is in pain, the mind obsesses or spaces out, we disassociate from our bodies or emotions, and we crave or fear a thing we may not even be able to name.  The body-mind-spirit connection may feel chaotic, disjointed or even feel as if embodiment  never existed.

Qi bodywork can help us relieve the pain, soothe the mind, and accept our emotions. We become curious about confusion and the feeling of  disembodiment. With inner listening we can begin a process of finding our embodiment again. Qi work restores our harmony. We feel present and whole.

Bodywork is another form of self-care that we do to keep ourselves whole, happy and well.  Just as it important to eat well, exercise, and sleep, acupressure keeps us well tuned.  Please don't consider it a luxury, but another important form of self-nurturing and balanced living.

SESSIONS

Mind Body Qi Therapy                          1.5 hr: $130
Private Qigong Class                              1.5 hr: $90  (3 classes recommend if learning for the 1st time.)

GOOD TO KNOW
  • All sessions include an assessment of qi through pulse taking, questions and palpation. All sessions are based on Chinese and Japanese medicine and qi theory and will include primarily finger pressure with some sōtai, tui-na and shiatsu. Depending what's needed we may do some inner dialoguing, meditation or qi movements.    You are fully clothed in a session, so please wear clothes easy to move in and that are lightweight.  Please refrain from wearing strong scents.
  • If you are interested in private classes and learning Eight Pieces of Silk qigong for the 1st time, I suggest 3 classes. I can teach up to 3 people at a time, so get a couple of friends to join you and split the cost!  If this is a review take as many classes as you need.
  • Sliding scale is available. I am committed to supporting your health and wellbeing, so I am always willing to negotiate my fee. If you are serious about working with me, let's be mindful of our financial situations and contact me about how we can make this work.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This time is reserved especially for you. If you do not cancel or reschedule you are still responsible for the total fee.
